How to be "lighter" this year :-)

Hi lovelies,
Have you ever walked into a room and noticed the ambient atmosphere created by one lamp or some lovely candles. It is amazing the change that can be made by a carefully placed light source. I know from personal experience the lighting in a Kmart change room is not really flattering.  I am more likely to buy clothes when the lights are dimmer or strategically used to bring out the "good curves". In the same way people are more likely to feel more "at home" or comfortable when they are under great lighting. Hope you like some smart and quirky light ideas below. Thanks for following my blog!! Re-use your cheese grater!!

Points of Light ~ Say cheese — graters, that is. Salvaged shredders make a lovely table display with the illumination of votive candles twinkling through. Nab an assortment of round and classic box graters from flea markets. Then group on a tray with fall flowers or leaves for a seasonal accent. To be safest, use LED lights instead of candles. This setting is sort of industrial chic, I like the fact that it's very rough looking, yet sorta polished in it's own unique way! I also like the light fixture, it reminds me of a pine cone! :)
