Hello awesome people!
This week it was back to work and wow what a change two weeks holidays can make. Over the break I felt rested and recharged and even started this blog. I am hoping I can keep this up and people actually read my blog. If you are still reading - thank you! I have to confess...I'm not the best speller either, so please forgive me if you are one of those spelling & grammar fanatics. I work in the IT industry so spelling isn't my number one forte :-). So after a full days work I have come home feeling a little tired but charged up for another blog. I chose a home decor blog because no matter what finances you have you can still have a pretty cool place. You can get some really unique pieces from op shops OR you can go crazy and splurge on a beautiful piece of timeless furniture or piece of art. Perhaps, even something that your grand-kids will love (I say this as I am sitting on my parents leather recliner chair under a large vintage lamp which was my mothers great grandmothers). Its so vintage that the lamps feet are actually shaped as little "fox feet" - cute but kinda weird at the same time. Talking about "animals" in home design, I do however like the idea of using "deer" shapes and patterns at home. I like how deer and moose shapes create a nostalgic and a funky atmosphere (perhaps I watched Bambi too many times as a kid). I have attached below some deer and moose ideas which hopefully you might like.
P.S. I personally like artificial deer in design and not real deer...because they are super cute and want them to be in the wild rather then on my wall. If you would like to subscribe to my posts so they go to your email, please click on the subscribe button on the bottom of my blog.
Thank you my "deer" for reading my blog :-) xxx
